I know I rarely post, and I apologize.
It's just that my head hasn't really been in the blogging game for a while :(
I'm trying my hardest to post more though :)

So, as you may know from my last post, I went to Jakarta 2 weekends ago with my best friend D.
Yes, we had fun. A lot of fun.
It's so HOT there!!
And we went to Ancol, and some malls, and some very cheap shopping places ;)

We stayed one night at the Mercure hotel in Ancol, and the other night at Kartika Chandra hotel which is right NEXT TO Planet Hollywood.
We had a delicious dinner there, and watched transformers 2 (midnight).
Twas so fun ! :)

I missed this blog so much!!

The problems have just been getting worse and worse.

1. Internet is on and off. Speedy is killing me slowly.

2. Gossip Girl has been sucking lately, and 90210 just relates more to me.

3. My mom cheated on my dad. Yes I know, that is so open, and random.
I just wanted to let people that have NORMAL lives know how lucky they are.
From now on, I will be 100% honest and open on this blog.

4. The my moms lover is STILL working at my company. EVEN THOUGH MY DAD KNOWS!

Okay, how do I know right?

Evidence:

1. My dad once found an sms on her phone saying "Hello sweetie, let's meet at (a certain cafe) and sit under the palm trees today. Love, M."

2. She ruffles his hair. SHE DOESN'T DO THAT TO MY DAD!! ARGH!

3. She ALWAYS goes out with him. And NEVER with my dad.

4. When she goes out with him, she ALWAYS wants to sit shotgun. with HIM.

5. Once, I was eating lunch with the both of them at this cute cafe, and he said "Oh, I came here a few days ago with a friend". And then she said "Really? What friend??" Like, in a reaaally aggressive tone. That is so secretly dating behavior.

6. When she fought with my dad, she went to HIS house. and came home at 5 in the morning?
um hello? where would she sleep? ARRGH THIS IS KILLING ME!

7. I found ANOTHER text after she sent one saying: "M, buy me some Bakso (a type of food) at Rindu Rasa/longing flavor (A small resto)". And then he replied "Rindu Rasa atau Rindu Saya?" --> Translation: Longing flavor or longing for me?

I'm nuts right now.

8. When we went to pizza hut, they went to the bathroom. AT THE SAME TIME. And when I went to the bathroom, I saw them standing WAAAY to close to each other.

9. When me and my boyfriend was going out, we saw my car parked in front of a cafe. I called her pretending that I was at home and asked her where she was. She said she was in Kuta (so far away). SHE LIED. WHY WOULD SHE LIE?

10. She refused to fire him when I said that either he has to leave, or the family is.

I hate her. I hate him. I hate this situation.

I love my dad more than anything and anyone. Anyone who tries to hurt him, will pay.

If you guys are confused about why I love my dad and want to kill my mom, here's why.

My dad works from 6 am till 8pm every day for his family.

My mom spends his money. And pretends to work. And probably sends some cash to M every month.

That is why I'm tired, and pissed.

That is why I stopped going to school.

This is too much.

Can anyone please relate? Because I need to know whether this is normal or not.

I think I might audition for the Hills. My life is WAY more dramatic than LC's.

What a hectic week!!
Hanging with my nephew is slowly killing me.
In a good way. Sometimes.

Here in Bali it's near Galungan, Kuningan, and Nyepi.

A public holiday for the Hindu's to pray.
On nyepi all the electricity is out, and no cooking, no going out.

Just stay in bed for an entire day.

Yesterday at Sanur

Yesterday me and my bf went out to take Gerlane (my sis in law) to the Salon for waxing, Creambath, and manipedi.
The salon was in Sanur so the rest of the family (Dad, Mom, Step bro, nephew) decided to meet up with us for a snack at a little beach front cafe called Bonzai.

It was fun! We had drinks, played in the sand, and took pics :D

Okay, recap of my weekend.

Saturday I spent the ENTIRE day at home, but at night, me and my boyfriend decided to check out a new club called 'Blue Eyes'.

Before we went, as usual, I took half an hour to do my make up.

And on Sunday we decided to go out for a bit after lunch.

no, that is not a booger in my nose. My skin condition is extremely dry so I always have skin peeling off my nose. I repeat, that is NOT a booger.

Friday night

I went out on friday night with my boyfriend :)
It was alright.. I guess.

We went to Circle K and he chatted away with his cousin while I drank apple juice.
I got tired after a while and decided to wait in the car.
That's when I saw them.

arrrghh.
I saw this couple riding a motorbike on the wrong side of the road.
First I was eyeing her Body&Soul shopping bag, but then I realized that they were fighting.
And it was most definitely NOT arguing.

He HIT her.
He EFFING HIT HER REALLY HARD!!!
AGAIN AND AGAIN!
asshole.
I got so pissed.
I hate it when guys hit girls, it's just not right.
Good thing she was wearing a helmet cos the way he hit her was so hard she would have bumps on her head even WITH her helmet on.

She was crying so hard, and he was yelling.
That's when I started to cry.
yes, I know, I'm THAT sensitive.

Then I decided to sleep, cos crying doesn't really help anyone, and the couple rode away a while back.

Pasar Sukawati

2 days ago I went with Gerlane [pronounced Herlana] (my step-sister in-law), mom, gran, and this guy I'm supposed to think of as my uncle, to the Sukawati market.

Location: Gianyar, Bali.

Mom ended up buying stuff for the rest of the family in Jakarta, Gerlane bought a SUUUPER CUTE flower dress plus netty top in pink and a pair of sandals, and I bought a tie dye dress.

When I got home and tried on the tie dye dress, it ended up being too short to be a dress, so let's just call it a long top... :P

1. You can buy it for very cheap prices (depends on what quality you want it to be).
2. It's very colorful! yayy colours!
3. Girls AND boys can wear it.
4. The material is usually quite thin and so I never get too hot here in Bali!!

Since our valentines day celebration totally sucked, we decided to celebrate it the next day :)

It totally rocked...

He slept over from val's day, and we woke up at about noon-ish.

Then after we took 0ur showers, we went out to this Bali Souvenir shop in the center of the city and bought 2 tie dye shirts (one for me, and one for him), one floral dress, and one I <3 BALI bag

Total spending: Rp.80.000 (Less than 8 US $)

I was terribly disappointed in what became of my valentine's night :(

Me, my bf, D, DG, and their families went to Hard Rock Hotel, where every night there is a live band playing.

First of all, when we got there, my bf got pissed at me for not thinking of dinner (I totally forgot... and he was really hungry... ).

As if that wasn't enough drama for the day, the band totally sucked...
I would have preffered to go to Kamasutra where the band totally ROCKS!

And then there was also the fact that me and my bf's presence was obviously not wanted...
D, DG, etc. ignored me and my bf the entire time...
except for when I asked them to go to the girl's room for a bit...
and when we went to mcdonalds...
and our last convo was "bye" "oh, yeah, uhhh.. bye"

ARRGHH! WHY AM I DESTINED TO NEVER HAVE FRIENDS!

2 days ago, when I found out that my b&s tops have gone missing, I went to a club with my bf to clear my head and stop the tears from falling.

It was called Kamasutra and it was right in front of the beach :)

The club was crowded, but in a good way.
And the band rocked my world!!!
I love how they've changed it from the last band, which was absolutely horrid.

Someone either stole or misplaced my two BodyandSoul tops.

My mom promised to buy me the same ones in the near future, but I doubt there's any left.

Then there's the good news.
I went hunting up in my attic for something wearable, and I found my mom's old Dior bag.
Yes, I admit, as a young teenager, I didn't much like the bag, and I went for punky numbers instead.
But now, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

So, last night when I couldn't sleep yet again...

Yes, tonight I'm sleeping over at my friend's hotel room.

Her name is E and she came from Jakarta to visit Bali for a couple of days before she had to finish her IB schooling in Singapore.

Gosh do I miss her like monkeys

But this is the first time in a long time that I'm going out without my bf.
I miss him like hell and it's only been one and a half hour since he left my place.

It is now 7 in the morning and I am leaving for Legian in an hour to wake E up and get her out for coffee since I'm 98% sure that she'll have a hangover when she wakes.

I'm not posting today, but I'll take pics of everything that happens.

Last night I watched Pirates Of the Carribean The Black Pearl.

Honestly, I've never realized how gorgeous Keira Knightley is, and also her dresses.

I am craving a mini version of every dress she owns.

*drool*

I also now have a craving for men whom are slightly crazy, have a beard and long dreadlocks, like to wear bandanas and like to bring 'effects'.

While watching the movie, I also made pics.
(I know, completely random right?)

Well, some scenes were either too boring, or too scary.

I didn't post yesterday due to the Hindu sin praying thingy.

LOL, I don't know what to call it in English.

It's called Siul Atri or summin.

since I'm planning on becoming a Hindu, I started participating in praying activities yesterday.

It was tiring since we had to travel from temple to temple.

but I had lots of fun being able to adventure around my bf's village.

It went on until about 3 AM...

tired as hell. I spent the whole day sleeping.

So that's why I didn't post.

That 70's TIME!

So, the start of 2009 has been all about old stuff making a comeback...
(well, old stuff is always coming back. That's why we LOVE vintage)
But after reading some mags, I noticed that most inspired fashion choices these days have been coming from the 70's.

Ruffles, long ruffly sleeves, high waist skirts (or high waist anything really), wide legged jeans, etc.

i LOVE vintage.

i could LIVE vintage.

Here's me trying on my moms vintage ruffled long sleeved polka dotted button up with some shorts with a waist line up to my belly button. Hehe :).

Note: I did a little much on the make up. I felt like trying out some new products.

at the mall

So, today I went to CENTRO which is the biggest mall in Bali. Me and my boyfriend stopped at Mcdonalds for a sundae and then went off to the VOLCOM big sale and the ROXY/QUICKSILVER/DC big sale in front of the mall.

All I have to say about the VOLCOM sale is SHAME ON YOU! I went to the same sale about half a year ago and the clothes are EXACTLY the same!! I expected some variety but the racks just thousands of the same tops, dresses, pants, skirts, and whatever was left from the sale 2 seasons ago in different colours and sizes. I was extremely dissapointed.

The ROXY sale however was great! I found some things that I really liked. There was this gray and blue striped dress, this cute bikini, a nice and plain two piece, a lovely hat, and an amazingly attractive wallet!

But inside the mall were also some great stuff! There was a CENTRO HOT SALE on the second floor and some amazing tops and dresses were 50% off. The prices (considering this sale was inside a very expensive looking mall) were quite cheap. After the discount, most of the stuff would be around Rp. 120.000,00. THAT'S A BARGAIN for any really cute cl0thes.

Now I have a problem. I'm kind of on a low budget, and I really want to buy SOMETHING from SOMEWHERE before all these sales close. I need to decide whether I'm going to go with the cute and branded stuff from last season's roxy collection or the sophisticated inexpensive stuff from the mall (which no one would know is last season because no one really shops there).

HELP!

I'll post back on Wedensday when I've already bought the stuff. :)

fashion update

okay, so here's the thing. I barely have any dresses... all my old dresses are way to small for me (now that I've gained a few).
I'm trying to save up to buy Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn and also to buy a new bikini for splashing about in Hard Rock Hotel during weekends.
I REALLY WANT A DRESS though... I mean, it's sooo hot in Bali and I want a summer dress to go walking barefoot on the beach or window shopping in Legian.

Though my mum has tons of those dresses, we're a different size and I can't fit into them.
But what I DO fit into are her skirts. Her long flowy bohemianish skirts. I decided to wear those skirts really high and pretend that they're bohemian tube dresses. After I tried them on, they were UBER CUTE! I really like them and now I have a new collection of tube dresses in my closet..!!
